Belfast 89 – Entry to Competitions

RULES (2025)

The following rules apply to competitions which run on Belfast 89.

Anyone who enters our competitions will be deemed to have understood these Rules and will be bound by them.

Facebook Competitions:

To enter Facebook competitions, entrants must first like the Belfast 89 Facebook page, then they must like, comment on and share the competition post.

On-air Competitions:

For on-air competitions the presenter will announce which methods (text, email, phone, mail or a combination of these) are available for the particular competition.

Text-in competitions can be entered by texting your name, location and answer to 07486-89-3-24-7. Texts are charged at your standard network rate.

Email competitions can be entered by emailing studio@belfast89.com.

Phone competitions can be entered by calling the studio on 028 9023 8989. Normal geographical rates apply.

Postal entries can be posted to Competitions, Belfast 89, Merrion Business Centre, 58 Howard Street, Belfast, BT1 6PJ.

 The winner(s) will be contacted by telephone to discuss their prize after the competition has closed and the winning entrant(s) are drawn.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into by the judges in relation to that decision.

Belfast 89 has the right to withdraw any competition without advance notice in the event of extenuating circumstances beyond the radio station’s control.

Eligibility:

Entrants must be 18 year or over
Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.
Entrants must live in the BT (Northern Ireland) postal area.
